Aegean600: Fastsailing team wins Multihull category on our Outremer4X

We are happy (and proud) finishing 1st in Multihull category with a crew of 5 fast sailors.

Our victory is sweeter because among our competitors, there were two other identical Outremer4Xs that we left many miles behind.

As expected the Aegean600 gave us strong emotions: top speed 25.4kts, strong winds, light winds, magnificent sunsets and dawns…briefly everything!
We definitely look forward to doing the race for a 4th time in 2024!

Our 1st total refit: done with passion and dedication

Over more than a decade in the charter business, our team of 10 skilled professionals has had to repair almost everything and very often under great time pressure. So when a client asked for a total refit of a little 7m long gozo that he acquired second hand somewhere in Italy, we said “yes, certainly, we can do it”.Before it looked like that:

So we rebuilt everything totally new: GRP bilges, structural reinforcements, engine, electric wiring, lights, soft water plumbing, bilge pump, electronics, windlass, woodwork, sound system, refrigerator, bimini, upholstery, teak, rigging, bathing platform, hull paint job, safety equipment…For most tasks we had to design custom solutions from scratch respecting the Italian owner’s wish to have a fully functional, safe and aesthetically satisfying day sailer. In the first trip, this little 7m gozo went from Lavrio to Milos ~70nm non stop.

The outcome was so pleasing that the whole Fastsailing team fell in love with this little jewel!
