Corfu: our new base in the Ionian Sea

 

Starting from the 2019 season, Fastsailing will open a new base in Gouvia Marina in Corfu.
This is an ideal starting point to enjoy the Ionian sea, an area which is famous for relaxed sailing, with plenty of beautiful islands to discover, from the famous Ithaca, Cephalonia and Paxi, to the more remote Othoni and Erikousa.
Corfu airport offers direct connections to major European cities and many daily flights to Athens.

The local base manager will be Dimitris Kalantzis, that many of you have met during numerous skippered charters and the Train & Race events .
In this new Corfu base there will be permanently based at least one Pogo12.50 and a Solaris47. Exceptionally, all our other boats will be able to move between Lavrio and Corfu depending on clients’ wishes.

Pogo30: the small rocket of our High Performance Line

Starting from August 11th 2018, we will have a small rocket in our High Performance Line: the Pogo30 !

Like all our other Pogos, our Pogo30 features a carbon mast with a square top main, pivoting keel, spinnaker and Code0.
Interiors offer 2 double cabins, a WC with shower and a complete kitchen.
Needless to say, it is very very FAST.

Solaris47: a brand new Yacht in our Luxury Performance Line

We are very excited to announce the addition of a brand new Solaris47 staring from September 15th 2018.
The yacht is under construction at the Solaris boat yard in Italy and is to be delivered in a few weeks.
One deck Solaris47 features full teak, fixed carbon bow sprit, custom 500Watt solar panel covering almost the entire roof, dinghy garage,  large swimming platform, spray hood that hides completely under the deck, folding cockpit table, bimini, helmsman seats…
Interiors offer 3 very comfortable cabins, 2 heads with shower and electric WC, and a large kitchen.
Equipment is rich with desalinator, Eberspraecher heater, two refrigerators, electric dinghy inflater,  top electronic instruments with double GPS chart plotters, electric winches, AIS…
Sailing wardrobe is equally rich: Full batten main with 3 reefs, Roller Genoa, Roller Jib, Spinnaker with sock, and Code0 on endless furler.

Solaris47: a craftsmanship masterpiece, a yacht of amazing beauty!

Join us for the “Offhore/Train & Race”  during 10-18/Nov/2018

Experience non-stop sailing in true offshore conditions, train and race a regatta. 7 days of super (and fast) sailing. Depending on participation we will deploy up to 3 Pogo12.50s creating true one-design conditions!

Programme:
Saturday November 10th: Arrival in our base in Lavrio
November 11th – November 16th:
2 days of non-stop navigation.
1 night at port
3 full days of training around the Cyclades.
Afternoon theory courses (tactics, weather, rules)
Saturday November 17th: DEI Regatta 18nm
Sunday morning November 18th: Departure
