New boat in the FastSailing fleet: Sydney 43GTS

We are happy to announce the latest addition to our fleet of fast boats: The Sydney43GTS, an IRC racing machine.

Designed by Jason Ker and built by Sydney Yachts in Australia, this is a modern lightweight, sturdy and truly fast racer: Keel with bulb, 2.5m long fixed bow sprit, plenty of sail area, wide beam….Double-digit sensations are guaranteed!

Comes with a an amazing sail wardrobe of top quality 18 sails, including 4 jibs, 4 asymmetric spis, Code0,1&2,5, trysail and even 3 mainsails ….

Still there is a decent level of comfort for a crew of 10 with 3 double cabins, WC with shower and hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, heating, cockpit shower…

To facilitate the participation to the local week-end or longer races, we will not respect the typical Saturday-Saturday charter programme.

Some really interesting races to do:

and many more

Race results – Autumn 2017

A. 2017 Rolex Middle Sea Race

Our Pogo50 EROS finished 3rd in ORC2 in the 2017 Rolex Middle Sea Race.

This edition will remain in history as one of the toughest of the famous race with strong headwinds and high seas for ~180nm. Only 35/105 made it to the finish line and we but we made it and with absolutely no damage!

Two elements were crucial to our success: the super sturdy Pogo50 and our great skipper Pietro D’Ali.

What an experience! Bravo to the crew: Alex, Aleks, Brian, Christi, Giorgo, Michael, Michalis, Viktor and of of course to our skipper Pietro D’Ali

B. October 2017 Hydra Race

Our X-Yacht X43 XENIOS finished 3rd in real time (6th in corrected) in the October Hydra Race. Bravo to the Greco-Swiss charter crew for their effort!

Unlike the Xp line, the X-Yacht X43 line is not at all optimized for handicap racing and, therefore, in real time it performs very well !
