Solaris72 and Current Marine 46: our new charter yachts starting 2026
For 2026 season we have two additions in our Fastsailing charter fleet:
- Solaris 72: a yacht of distinct elegance
- Current Marine 46: carbon, purist, high performance cruising catamaran
he Solaris72 Black Pearl, a yacht of characteristic elegance, becomes the 7th Solaris of the Fastsailing charter fleet starting 2026.
With a unique dark brown hull, the Solaris72 Black Pearl is fully equipped on every aspect:
- 3 large guest cabins with 3 en suite bathrooms + separate double crew cabin with dedicated wc and direct access to the deck.
- Top sailing performance: Retractable torpedo keel for 2.6-4.3m variable draft, Carbon mast, Carbon V-boom, Carbon bow sprit, B&G electronics, Laminated mainsail, genoa and staysail
- High-end aesthetics and top quality the Solaris way: Rigid bimini, articulated anchor davit, full teak deck…

The Current Marine 46 Ohana is a 6.5t light displacement (!) carbon reinforced performance catamaran that will join the Fastsailing charter fleet starting June 2026.
Super high tech construction:
- Vacuum infused with PVC / Epoxy composite
- S-glass for the outer skin at the lowest half of the hulls.
- ~40% stronger and ~20% stiffer than E-glass.
- More impact resistant compared to carbon
- Carbon for the inner skin at the lowest half of the hulls and full carbon for the rest of the boat.
Spreader-less & rotating carbon mast (!) with textile rigging.
Wing boom, longeron, curved crossbeam, kick-up rudders (!) and retractable dagger boards, all carbon
Top sail wardrobe by OneSails:
- 4T Forte laminate for Mainsail, Furling Genoa, Furling Jib + Storm Jib
- IFS cable-less Code5 and A2 both on furlers
Madintec autopilot (as on most IMOCAs) with self-learning (the more the boat sails, the better it performs)
What is equally amazing, is the level of comfort for up to 8 persons on a such a top performance package:

Technical: improving a furler & other 3d-printed goodies made by Fastsailing
On most furlers the end cap brakes (very) often.
To replace it we must unmount the forestay, pass the end cap through the stay (1), place the horizontal metal flange (2) put the two-part plastic bushing (3) and hammer in the two metal pins (4).
Couldn’t we do all that without removing the forestay?
At Fastsailing, we came up with this 3d-printed solution: 2 parts only (instead of 6), reliable, safe, simple to install, no need to unmount the forestay.
Here are some other 3d printed goodies we made at Fastsailing:
- Base for the Fortress spare anchor, to be safely stored in the locker
- Covers for Antal electric winch buttons, for electric outboard lower tip
- Base and cover for electric gennaker furler (with logo of Solaris60
inscribed!) - Water tight cover for the electric outboard cable connectors (as sold, they were not watertight)
- Holders for the electric air pump, for the upwind foot rests when in the locker, for glasses, drawer organizers…
- Entire engine 3d-printed or testing new coupler installation
